Training Overview:  Are you a TF-CBT provider working with Latine families?  Do you face challenges engaging Latine children and families in treatment?  Come learn about ways to successfully engage Latine families and how to apply core Latine values to make TF-CBT more culturally relevant.  This training will explore cultural enhancements to trauma assessment and the PRACTICE components with culturally and linguistically appropriate resources.  Case examples will be used throughout the training. 

This advanced training is for therapists who have already completed the initial TF-CBT training.

Learning Objectives:Upon completion of the training, participants will be able to:

  1. List three core cultural values that are common among Latine children and families

  2. Identify cultural enhancements to the assessment process with Latine children and families

  3. Describe cultural enhancements to the PRACTICE components with Latine children and families

  4. Identify resources for implementing TF-CBT with Latine children and families
